Welcome to Pinecrest High School Orchestra!

The Pinecrest Orchestra program is devoted to creating the best, most well rounded musicians who utilize their enriching experiences in the program both inside the classroom and beyond. In conjunction with the performing arts department at Pinecrest High School, the program is committed to student success and preparation for music and life after high school. The goals of the Pinecrest Orchestra program are as follows:

To foster a love and desire to learn music.
To create well-rounded musicians through the studies of performance, music theory, and history.
To establish a foundation of good habits for long lasting success after high school.
To learn team building and collaboration skills.
To teach students how to acquire a means to teach themselves and others.
To recognize and celebrate the diversity of people in the musical world around the globe.

This program offers intense musical training within a supportive community for all students who wish to become better musicians. It offers opportunities for students who enjoy music and who want to excel in music. It is our hope that students will learn how to become better musicians and citizens after completion of this program.
